Alex Dunn is passionate about marketing, having been in a senior marketing management role for one of New Zealand’s fastest growing FMCG companies. Alex adopts an unconventional approach to marketing and he does this by challenging common perceptions.
Alex attended school in East Auckland before going to Auckland University of Technology (AUT) to study Marketing, Advertising, Retail and Sales. After graduating, Alex was invited back to complete his Honours degree where he wrote the first academic article in New Zealand about Pop Culture Sneaker Consumption. After working and saving diligently from a young age, Alex made the bold move to purchase an investment property in Napier before purchasing an apartment in Auckland with his fiancé.
Alex is still involved with AUT outside of Real Estate mentoring third year business students with their final assignments. Alex also worked as a freelance marketing consultant for several local small and medium businesses which gave him the opportunity to work closely with people from all walks of life. Alex understands why people want to live in Auckland and the importance of getting on the New Zealand property ladder. Alex provides insights to the buying and selling process for both first home buyers and investors alike.
