RENTAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

  

The following items are required to accompany every application for a rental property.

 

1. Photo identification (e.g. drivers license, passport) please advise if you do not have either of these.

2. References from two previous landlords (unless you have never previously rented)

3. Employment references (if applicable) and/or personal references.

4. Proof of income (entitlement from WINZ or payslip from current employer)

5. Proof of a regular payment history e.g. (rent payments, hire purchase or financial institutions).

6. Baycorp checks and any other credit checks.

 

When applying for a Rental Property make sure the application form is completed in full with above documentation. If you do not supply all the information that is requested you may not be considered as the most suitable applicant.

 

Once the application form has been submitted we then advise our landlord who will make a decision based on your application, as to whether we proceed to viewing the property. Often there will be several application forwarded to the landlord. Appointments will be made to view a property. We do not hand out keys.

 

If your application is successful we will contact you to arrange an appointment to sign the Tenancy Agreement.

 

Note:

1. We require payment in full before you receive the keys. This includes:

· 3 week's rent for the bond.

· 1 week’s rent.

· letting fee (one week’s rent plus GST)

  

2. PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT accept Bond Transfers.
